Description

Experience the charm of Up-Island Martha’s Vineyard in this beautifully renovated Sea Captain’s home, ideally located in the heart of West Tisbury. Thoughtfully updated, the home features three modern bathrooms with walk-in showers, a comfortable living and dining area, and a bright, sunny kitchen. A cozy family room with TV sits just off the living room, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The first floor includes a bedroom with a private bath, along with an additional full bathroom.
Upstairs, you’ll find four more bedrooms, a full hall bath, and conveniently located laundry. The second-floor primary bedroom can be accessed by either the main staircase or a back staircase off the kitchen, offering added privacy and flexibility.
Unwind on the inviting veranda with a glass of wine, or enjoy grilling fresh Vineyard seafood on the patio just off the kitchen. Step outside and you’re just moments from West Tisbury favorites including Alley's General Store (“Dealers in Almost Everything”), 7a Foods café, local art galleries, and the island library. The nearby playground and bike paths through the state forest make this an ideal spot for families.
You’ll also be perfectly situated near two of the Vineyard’s most beloved beaches. Lambert’s Cove offers calm waters and stunning sunset views (with town access permit available for renters), while Long Point Wildlife Refuge features expansive ocean surf along with a shallow freshwater pond—perfect for children.
This home offers the perfect blend of classic Vineyard charm and modern comfort in a prime Up-Island location.
